All these years growing up on the beach we knew what "in season" meant, we looked forward to the restaurant being busy, we made 80% of our profit from Oct-March. Never gave much thought where all the snow birds stayed, but now that we are out traveling with kids to every other place in Florida other than Disney we are finding out. But it still beats the snow and we don't have to winterize. We are looking forward to making new friendships. My 5yr old has done a great job of finding kids her age everywhere we have been and with social media it's much easier keeping in touch with people today and keep those friendships going. Not to mention the groups of campers getting together in the same place. Fun times ahead.

I use to put the dryer sheets in my hard hat and welding hood to keep the nats away. Worked great for that plus smelled good LOL.

We camp year round, feel sorry for those that don't get to. I winterize only when the weather is going to be hard freeze, that makes it easer to go camping when we can. Parked in the driveway when not camping.
