Brake inspection

I purchased our 29RLBS 5th wheel ten months ago and have put on about 5000miles on the rig, Any suggestions on when I should have the brakes inspected. What is the normal life oof trailer brakes, assuming average road conditions.

Thanks for your response

It is recommended to inspect and re-pack the wheel bearings once a year. The brakes should be inspected(cleaned or replaced) at that time.
