Bringing The Golf Cart

Ok,i have a 38' CC Daydreamer and i want to bring my 06' precident golf cart with me, originally i was considering building a swivel wheel trailer but yesterday i was looking at the hitch mounted on the frame of my fiver,my friend who i bought it from carried a tray with a honda 3000 gennie and one of those reciever mounted three wheel folding carts off the hitch so i was wondering due to the size of my fiver [15.000 lbs] why can't i fab out a tray to hold my cart? The cart weighs under a 1.000 lbs and i could remove the batteries to reduce that by 350 odd pounds, whaddyall think????

Thanks in advance

That's a lot of weight to displace behind your rear axles, especially with the leverage and fulcrum effects.
