Question Bucket list of places/sights??

So here's the deal. No time restrictions, no money problems to be thought of on this one. Your dream places/things to see before you "Kick The Bucket" are...

Use this to plan your fantasy trip. Places restricted to the US and Canada please!

Have you been there to your dream spot or just dreaming of going?

The list would be long but the places I would like to visit are all the National Parks!

Bahia Honda State Park in Florida Keys. You can park your RV/tent/ camper/sleeping bag on the edge of the ocean and step out, walk 3-4 feet into the ocean. Best campground for view/location we've been at in 30+ years of camping. Concrete pads, easy pull throughs, must reserve site a year ahead.

Long Beach campground on the west coast of Vancouver Island. Right beside the wild Pacific Ocean, and a world away from the nutcase crowds that make places like Yellowstone and Yosemite unbearable. I've had my fill of that bs.
The high country of the National Forests of Colorado are also awesome in their own right, and few people. Take your quads and explore thousands of miles of trails that few ever use.

I want to hit all the National Parks; all the Civil War Battlefields; All the Revolutionary Battlefields and forts; Baseball Hall of Fame (done); Niagara Falls (done); and camp in all the states at least once. The US Air Force Museum in Dayton (done); The US Marine Corps Museum in MD (done); The Naval Museums (San Diego and Pensacola); Aberdeen Proving Grounds Museum (done). See as many of the 3500 aviation and military museums as I can "in passing."

Never use my air conditioning and never use my heater; moving to stay at a constant 70 degrees all year.

Sure. Why not.

Since I haven't been to either place yet, I had to get those pictures from this web site - Yellowstone National Park Pictures - US National Parks stock photos, fine art prints by QTL

Enjoy!

When I retired in 2002 I told my wife I wanted to visit all the National Parks I didn't work in. That's one reason we bought our motorhome.

Just a thought for you, Herk, is to see the EAA Aviation show in Oshkosh, WI when (eventually) you do camp in Wisconsin. The only problem are the temps could be hit or miss. Great show nonetheless.
