Bumblebees.......help!!!!!

I am currently sitting in our camper "driveway camping" with our son. He is asleep and I am doing school work so it is dead quite except for the annoying sound of a bumblebee trapped somewhere in our back slide. My husband and I have both looked, inside and out, and can't find where it is! It sounds like it is in between the black rubber surrounding the slide and the wall of the camper. We let the slide in a little bit and looked around it then let it back out and it stopped so we thought it killed it. WRONG! It has started back up again. I'm praying that I can get some sleep tonight. Anyone ever had this problem? The bumblebees are awful here right now.

That's actually a carpenter bee, not a real Bumblebee. But that doesn't really matter you're just needing to get rid of it. They bore a hole about 3/8th's" diameter in clean wood. I'd start looking at all the bare wood you can find and see if you find a small round hole. There should be some sawdust in the area below it. Once you find it, spray some WD-40 in the hole if you don't wan to use poison and it'll drive them off. Once you do that spray all the bare wood surfaces you can find with WD-40 and they won't be tempted to bore there. Painting the wood will also keep them away.

In the off chance that you can't find the bore hole, get a carpenter bee trap and place it near where you think they are and it may take a few days but they will enter it.
