Buying A New One - Upgrade

We have decided to upgrade. We are going from a 2014 Wolf Pack 27WP toy hauler to 2017 Wolf Pack 25PACK12 toy hauler. We paid $23k for the '14 and the dealer is allowing $12k on a trade against the $28,500 price of the '17. I was surprised at the trade value, I thought it would be more but our '14 has some issues. We have had it 3 years and been camping 40 times and have pulled it for 16,000 miles. We've had no major issues but it's become apparent that our use of it is beginning to show. This year something has failed on every trip. Mostly minor things but all an aggrevation and make me think that it's time to move on before we get stranded somewhere. Some things are getting noisy , some don't work at all, and some are worn out. So we made a list of all the things that need to be addressed and we can see about $6000 in cost this winter to bring it up to snuff for next summer. I think it's a bad decision to put this much in it so we just decided to upgrade. We get a bit more living space and better appliances and more storage. Current th is 31' the new one is 37'.
Weights are about the same and we have no towing issues to consider. We've only done minimal shopping, and attended 3 camper shows but we were not impressed with anything we saw until this 25PACK12. We don't want a 5vr and this is the nicest hitch pull unit we've seen. Saturday is the big day and I've told my dealer to expect a lengthy PDI. This is the same dealer we bought the other one from and we felt pleased with the process 3 years ago so we are comfy with them again. But I throw it out there for your opinions. I've heard 2 heads are better than one so several hundred should be some super knowledge. What do yall think?

I love my 25pack12!! I paid under 28, with the 15K AC, party sofa, party deck, commercial rubber floor and aluminum rims upgrades.

Glad to hear Polish Dan. You got a great deal. I price shopped all over the Internet and could not find anything under 28.5

Out of curiosity what needs to be done to your old one? 3 years old and currently needs $6000 in repairs/conditioning?

Today is the day! We have cleaned our old TH and we will soon head to the dealer. I can not believe how much 'stuff' we had accumulated in our rig over the last 3 years. It all seemed like these were things we would need when we put them in there but many items were still brand new. Maybe we had become highway hoarders LOL
