Hi Everyone! (First Post)

I recently went to my local Bay Area Rockwood dealer and really liked the 2406S floorplan. Surprisingly before I even started to discuss Price, the salesperson brought up RVwholesalers.com. (The RVW price was going to be the basis for my negotiation strategy!) Then he said that no California dealership will provide warranty service for internet-purchased Rockwoods. Does anyone in CA have any experience with this?

He also said that they will match the RVW price less $100 plus ~$3K shipping and I could custom order one. But the trailer will be provided “as is” with no PDI. Still, this will save me ~$2K over their list price. So, part of my decision is to value how much a PDI and having warranty service from my local dealer is worth to me.

Anyone have some experience with purchasing a Rockwood in CA using RVW as a negotiating point?
