We carry bicycles on the rear of our 5th wheel, and want to carry our kayaks as well. Will need some type of over cab roof rack. What racks do others find effective. We have a 2015 Chevy 3500.

Any well-designed roof top cross rack will do (just need one). I used a front receiver and a Darby Extend-a-Truck t-rack so the kayaks wouldn't interfere with the 5th wheel nose. Sold the kayaks so don't need it anymore.

I purchased a set of Yakima roof racks and a set of genetic kayak j cradles to carry ours on the trucks roof. I can take them off or install the Yakima's I'm less than ten minutes. Watch Craigslist, this is where I found my roof rack. Half the price of new.
