Camber?

2014 2703ws at the dealer for a week to align the dintte slide. They've tried everything, referred it to FR. FR referred it to Lippert. Lippert thinks it might be out of camber. The problem is the top rear of the slide hits the opening and doesn't go in all the way to the wall. Its been adjusted once front to back to center it in the wall opening. The dealer has raised the rear to get it to specs. No tire wear. What's camber have to do with a slide not fitting correctly?

Did they actually say tire/wheel camber? I'm thinking they were talking about the slide alignment...??

I'm guessing they mean the camber of the slide not the axle

That makes about as much sense as muffler fluid.

It's on the shelf beside the level bubble fluid. Next to the 100' of shoreline.

Thanks for the quick replies. They didn't say wheel camber, just camber maybe meaning slide adjustment. Seems to me it would just be in/out adjustment of the slide mechanism. If it was out of warranty I'd be trying it myself. The dealer has been absolutely great about the whole thing and is determined to get it right. Just upset I didn't catch it sooner and thinking we may loose some camping time. Going down there tomorrow and see what they're talking about.

Stopped at the dealer today and talked to the owner. Lippert is talking about the camber of the whole trailer. (Huh) The dealer has to take a bunch of frame measurements and send them back to Lippert. Who knows what after that. He is not happy, and I'm concerned I didn't find it earlier.

Finally have an appointment to deliver the trailer to Goshen on Friday for work to be done on Monday. From what I can get from them is that it takes about half a day. Somehow there is camber in the frame, front to back. With the problem I have, the right rear has sagged. The service scheduler called it a "frame camber adjustment" also. Let you know when I get it back.

Got the trailer back today and was told the frame had a negative camber from the axles back. They heat the frame somehow, place it on jack stands overnight, adjusted the slides on both sides, and it works better than new.
Everyone at Lipperts plant 39 couldn't have been nicer and took the time to explain everything.
Found out something I didn't realize when we tested the slides at the plant. The battery cutoff switch in the trailer kills the motors for the Shwintek slides. They will work when plugged to shore power.
Also didn't realize that the second year warranty doesn't necessarily cover everything. The Lippert rep said there warranty is only one year. ????
