Camper door window cover

I bought one of those silver covers that you attach to the door window with Velcro to keep out light and reduce heat. I would like to cover the side that faces into the camper with fabric. Has anyone done this? If so how did you attach the fabric to the shade? Fabric adhesive? Spray adhesive? Modge Podge? Any suggestions appreciated

I mean't use velcro to attach the fabric to the shade. Thanks for your comment about our camper.

If the silver cover is sewable, I would use a piece of material cut to size and use double fold bias tape (in matching color) around the outside edge. You could use fabric adhesive, too to hold the material firmly against the silver item. Just be sure that you don't cover/impede whatever is holding the cover to your window.

Lastly, go for the lightest weight material you can find, it might affect how well it stays up if it's too heavy.

You can buy double sided sticky tape to attach fabric to surfaces. Look in JoAnns or Walmart. Stick fabric on with the tape, the trim it off. Then use a clear glue to lightly on the fabric edges to keep it from fraying.

Be sure the sticky velcro will stick to where you want it to. I tried putting some covers up in my TT on some of the framing around the windows and vents and it wouldn't stay.

Hope it works out for you.
