We have a short queen and we just use regular queen sheets and tuck them in. We use the elastic sheet straps to hold one end on. We've never had a problem with them coming off, etc. they're a heck of a lot cheaper than buying short queen sets. You can get 600-thread sheets at Wally world for around $50 for the fitted and flat sheet.

Also use "short" queen, have found them retail at CW also available at Amazon and others with that name.

Good quality regular sized sheets have better elastic around them, so they fit better.

We bought the better quality short queen sets through Amazon and like them really well. They are a better fit, easy to make up the bed and comfortable to sleep on. I like the fact that the camper sheets have the fitted top sheets as well as the fitted bottom sheet. They do cost more...about $70 for the set, but we really like them.

I bought a set of "short" queen sheets off of Amazon and then got a set of regular queen sheets from Wally World. I just use the top sheet from the Wally World set. Gives plenty of sheet to tuck in but still let my feet dangle (too tall for the short queen) without the restriction of the fitted top that comes with most "short" queen sets. Going to remedy the "short" queen with the next camper...only looking at 80" bed length units!
