Keep your dog on a leash when it's outside of your RV. I don't want to hear "Don't worry, FIDO is friendly" as I walk on the road past your site and your dog starts chasing after me and my dog.

We had a college frat group across from us with 4 camping spots. We feared the worst, but they were actually very nice. They played lawn games and basically stuck to their area and were in by Midnight. We only offered them a friendly warning that we saw some of them throwing cans in the bushes (big no-no), and the one we told was kind of the leader of the group; he told the ones who were doing it to pick them up and put them in the designated can barrel. They left the 4 spots squeaky clean when they left

We had someone an an Alabama campground demand that we move our class c, which was there when they arrived, because it created a "vortex" and caused too many leaves to blow into their campsite. We respectfully demurred to acquiesce to their request. NO

I swear to all that is holy, every time we go camping some moron sets off their car alarm at 6 am, then spends 15 minutes trying to find the keys then can't figure out how to shut it off.
Or when they come back at midnight and have to hit the key fob 2-3 times to lock there door..

That's the heaven and the hell of it I guess , we live in the middle of the forest-our nearest neighbor is a 1/2 mile down the road . Home is very isolated . When we go to campgrounds its nice for us to have people around and within reason - we like to hear 'hootin and hollerin' , dogs barking , kids running around being loud,,,,being kids .

Lord I must be a bad neighbor, slamming doors, I didn't know there was any other way to shut the door. Seems like you would have to be really close to me, course I can't hear none to well. Dogs is my bad things, people leave them tied up to close to my camper. Or they bark all the time or dog people don't pick up after there pets.

So true. I don't get the point of these threads outside of "misery loves company". It must be getting cold as that's when these topics arise.

Let's face it- we all do something that annoys our neighbor. And everyone has the chance to annoy you.

Personally, I try to take the good with the bad and live and let live. I choose to enjoy my time camping vs. letting some stranger take anything away from that.

ps, the offenders will never read this thread and go, "oh, I guess I should change."

Not cleaning up after your dog/pet. I can't count the number of times I find someone else's mess when I am walking my dog. I always carry extra bags. There is no excuse.

Make sure you share meat from your smoker as gesture of neighbourly kindness. You have been making it for over 10 hours.

And most of the time we only have to "deal with them" for a few days and then we never see them again!

I talk to my neighbors, I try not to say to much. It's not like I'm going to be at that campsite long. Dogs and campfires are our biggest problem, it seems like every camper has at least one dog and the first thing they want to do right after they get set up is build a campfire. Dogs left alone will most likely bark but the owners are gone

Only ones I've seen speeding in dusty campgrounds are motor homes......makes me want to do a 4 wheel burn-out in their close proximity....after they're set-up!

Trust me. Not everyone likes your old country music station at 11:00.

I know right. Those darn Motorhome drivers are just the worse. They drive them so fast and so dusty. It makes me so angry I think I'll hold my breath in protest.

Ah, Sir, we sing Rocky Top completely sober. I promise you a bunch of drunks sound better than my singing.
