Campground Games
My wife and I are wondering what kind of campground games people play? We have done badminton and catch with a ball and glove. Some years back we had a heavy duty rubber horse shoe set that was almost as good as the real horse shoes. Only problem was neither of us ever got very good at it. We would like a game that would get us out of the chair. I suppose lawn darts are out. What games do you all of you play?

Hillbilly golf (ladder golf) is another good one. Also, homemade, and a lot of fun for all ages.
Hillbilly Golf
It just dawned on me...jmswms probably meant this with "Ladders".

x2. Homemade washer game and homemade bean bags. Don't particularly care for the ladder ball game. But to each his own. How about board games? Mexican train, scrabble, trivial pursuit, etc. are all very popular.

Board games and Card games are popular with my family. I just built a Cornhole set (beanbag toss like horseshoes)... its popular in the Midwest and growing.

Bags, (or Cornhole). Way better than washer, casue you don't have to go looking for them all the time, and better than shoes because if alcohol interferes with your guidance systems, you would be hard pressed to kill someone with a beanbag.
For board games, Checkers, Chess, and Axis & Allies D-Day.

We take homemade washers, Ladder golf, and frisbees. We have had a lot of fun playing Cornhole, and recently got broke in playing Bocce Ball.

We play frisbee, ladder ball and frisbee horseshoes. Always on the look out for new games to play.

An outdoor family fav of ours is Bocce, but we do ladder golf too (my grandpa made sets for all of us). Card games are easiest to play and store so we have Phase 10, Uno, and a standard deck for poker, go fish, etc.

We sometimes travel with a big group, and games fit right in with all of us. We play Uno, Uker, Sequence, and other card games. The cornhole game is great too.

We have done all of the above and they are all fun.
Our latest though is Flimsee. It is by far the funnest we have played and does not take up alot of room for travel.
Check it out www.Flimsee.com

I like the "take a nap" game... it's my favorite. :-)
We do card games (Phase 10, Uno, Hold'em) and board games (Risk, Stratego, chess and checkers). We don't normally do a lot of game, games. The boy and I will go and play catch or basketball if the CG has a space.
