campground "run-a-bout"?

I have a Forest River 21fbrs, towed with a Yukon Denali.
My wife (who suffers from C.O.P.D.) and I like to "explore" our surroundings, but we have no way to haul a golf cart, her pedaling a bicycle is out of the question and next to zero walking. Plus we only have the trailers' rear bumper to attach a vehicle to....

What are some of the options we have for running around the campgrounds?
What have you used or seen? I would prefer something for two people and electric....but am open for any suggestions!

Seen electric scooters and even bikes that had an electric motor on them, like a moped but electric.

A couple who camp with us in which one has MS. They take a motorized 4 wheel scooter with them and it fits nicely in the back of their Ford Escape along with gear. They fold up fairly flat! They weight anywhere from 100pds and up so it can require some help or careful thinking loading and unloading.

You aren't able to attach much to that bumper. This isn't a rant, but I would hate for you to lose something important for your wifes mobility to be lost.

Good luck

I will sell both for $1200.00. Both received all new interstate batteries in late fall.

They are fun...

There are all sorts of little scooter like things. I think my favorite was watching someone drive around on a cooler.

Would a front-hitch on your vehicle and one of these work?

We use a GO-GO for my wife. It folds up and can be transported in a trunk of a car.
Check out pride mobility.

Before you purchase something, check with the places you plan to camp. Some campgrounds ( especially fed and state) have restrictions on what you can use. ie ( Maryland State campgrounds prohibit golf carts as the paved roads are considered public roads)

Add this to an existing bike: Hill Topper Electric Bike Kit, Electric Bike Batteries: Electric-Bike-Kit.com

My wife has 1 on her bike for the steep hills, but it can be used anytime.

The only advice I can give you for anything electric is depending on where you camp. My DW and I purchased two electric scooters and although they worked good on flat pavement. We do most of our camping in the mountains and they wouldn't pull any incline hardly at all so that's something to consider. However I'm shure it all depends on the power of the unit. Someone else might have more info on this then me. Good luck.

The Zappy is the way to go. Relatively inexpensive, and they run for quite a while on one charge. Friend of mine and his wife have one, and they love them.

Now that thing is just way too cool.

Would be perfect for hauling my '84 y.o. father around, if we could a) afford one, and b) had that much available cargo capacity...

That's really just an excuse. I want one for ME!

A non-motorized scooter may be a good place to start. The Zippr is a seated scooter. You can get around at a walking pace without a lot of effort.

Thanks for all the feed back!
I'm leaning toward what "dblr" posted, about a Cricket SX-3 mini golf cart.
After looking at all the post on electric bikes, I found Ace Electric Motorbikes and it got my mouth watering for a reminiscent 1910 American Board Track Racer.
I can't afford a $4800 bicycle and leaving my wife at the campsite while I don my leather jacket, newsboy cap and googles, zipping around the campground! That would get REAL expensive...in alimony alone....
I have to be more...more...."grown-up"?
Thanks again for all the input!
