Nashville shores is close to I40. We were there for a frog rally last year. Some sites back up to lake and some sites close to water park. Nice clean and nice folks working at park office. There are also several nice state parks near Nashville. I've been to the one outside Manchester, Tn. Old stone fort I think is the name. Nice older park, not full hook ups.

We stayed once at the KOA in Lebanon, just off I-40. Not bad, not fancy. We now stay at KOA on Music City Parkway, about a mile from Opry Mills mall and just off Briley Parkway. Very nice; will be there for one night next week, returning for 8 nights the first of April. Probably have 50-60 nights there over the last four years. There are two other campgrounds adjacent, Twin Rivers and Jellystone. We drove through them but liked KOA better.

I stayed at Shady Acres for two weeks in February. Right off of I-40 in Lebanon at the main Lebanon exit. It is South on 231 about a mile and a half from the Interstate. Nice folks that run it. Nothing fancy but they do have full hook ups and laundry. No Internet or cable but less than 30 bucks a night. Very quiet as well.

Nashville East KOA, near Lebanon. Stayed there one night in December. As I recall, we didn't have a sewer hookup at our site, but of course there was a dump station. The advantage is that it is right on I-40, very convenient.

Cages Bend, a Corps of Engineers campground on Old Hickory Lake northeast of Nashville off of RTE 386 (Vietnam Veterans Parkway). Spacious sites and most are right on the water. Like most Corp campgrounds, they have water and electric at each site, but no sewer hook ups. Has a dump station though. Also Twin Rivers Campground located next to KOA near Opry Mills Shopping Center. Tight spaces, but less expensive than KOA.

Two Rivers RV Park is really nice. We stayed there for a few nights a couple of years ago, and the concierge scored us tickets to Grand Ole Opry just a few miles away. One of the best live performance shows we have ever seen, and there is not a bad seat in the entire theater!
