Campgroundnin Calgary?

Hi I am wondering if anyone can recommend a Campground in Calgary Alberta.
We are staying currently at Calgary west campground, but it is very crowded.
Just wondering if there are any other options out there, as we will be back here in a week after going to banff.

There's a couple close to you, Calaway is just 5 minutes west of you and then about 20 minutes N.W. in Cochrane there's Bow RiversEdge. There is also Mount Kidd in Kananaskis about 40 minutes west of Calgary (very nice). We also have one east and one south of the city.

I can't say I can recommend a specific one; typically when I go camping I head out of town.

I am now happily sitting in banff looking at mountains.... I don't have to face the crowded Calgary lot again till next week!

There is a campground in Cochrane which is on the Bow River. There is one slightly north of there on highway 22
