Camping at Lakeport State Park

Out with the new Truck ...at Lakeport State Park...very nice...Tow..

I LOVE that park. I've been camping there annually for the 4th of July for the last 12+ years. Sadly this year we went to Algonac instead.

Looks like you were somewhere around site #64-67. We usually stay on 68, 69, 70

We are (our House) is betwwen Marine City and St, Clair, Mi... So ..Algonac is just tooo...close ...but.. for those that like to see the Great lakes freighters

Towing was fine ..first time ever using the intergrated brake control...go home this a.m. oh that Yellow tire sticker says 2,980 lbs on my truck...so..can ..with the right tires a 3,900 lb.. MAX .. payload be achived

Was at Lakeport a few weeks ago. Really enjoy that park. Our favorite park around home. Our next choice is Seven Lakes in Holly/Fenton. Our favorite northern park is Hatwick Pines.

The weather was GREAT !!! Temps in the low 80s... cool at night..good campfire weather..
