Oh, yes... I agree. A guy in a motor home near us had one 5 gal. light under his unit and one hanging on a rope about 10 feet ABOVE his unit - each with what appeared to be 100w bulbs. Neither of his light shined into his unit. Both shined into ours. I wished I had taken my Daisy Powerline 880 on that trip!!

Never have understood that my "stair light" is not above my steps but is to the right of them, pointed to the ground. Really serves no purpose. Lights at night don't necessarily bother me but noise does. I try to be considerous of others when arriving after quiet hours. I keep the noise and lights to a minimum. I even lock the truck door manually so the horn won't toot. If I arrive late to set up the site, I unhook, plug in the power cord and water hose and do the rest in the morning.

I have never heard of those so I googled it!

Definitely not on my "to do" list!

We, also, turn off everything before hitting the sack. The chihuahuas sometimes have to go out in the night but the outside light controls are right near the door so it's not an issue.

We've never been bothered by people having bright lights on around us....getting smoked out by campfires is our biggest peeve because we have to close everything up and one reason for camping is the fresh mountain air.

Recently, I have noticed an increase in people hauling motorcycles with them in their toy haulers. That's great BUT many of them have Harley's which are NOT quiet and I wonder where they feel they have to be driving to at midnight or later...waking up EVERYBODY with those ridiculously loud exhaust pipes.....GRRRRR...

If we're camping with friends or as a group, we'll leave the Orange scare light on. Never know when someone might need to come knocking. Otherwise, we're all off, all night.

We had a neighbor this past summer that had a lightpost on the street side of his trailer that he left on all night the first night we were there. We watched for them all day and they never came back while we were there. At night they went right into the trailer and never came back out. We had a tent on the site that was very near it. Needless to say, right or wrong, it got unplugged the second night................then the next day he took it down. We kill all the lights.
