camping lights

What lights if any does the average camper use for hanging out side around the camper at night other than the rope lights?

We have the road lights, cowboy things, snowman, cats, oriental lanterns. Go on amazon, or ebay you can find lots of designs.

Quite a few folks use these for awning lights (myself included):

I also use a single bag Coleman propane lantern for around the picnic table or anywhere else I need a bit more light.

I love my Coleman lantern, just not when my 18 month old is around. It's too hot and I'm sure he'd end up with a branding somewhere.

We have a variety of small electric lanterns. I also have Mickey head awning lights that we hang from the awning track. And, I've got all of the parts for installing the multi-color LEDs on the awning rail itself.

I hang the Coleman's at the end of the awning roller for nighttime lighting while eating.

A little s hook does the trick.

I use a bucket light setting on the ground near the steps.

Instead of S hooks you can use these velcro and they will roll up in your awning and not hurt it. You can get a set of 6 of them on amazon for under $15 and free shipping

There is one yellow light near the door and some light thru the window over the kitchen sink.

Plus I went this route with a Coleman.

If need be I have a 3 and a 5 foot hose that can be hooked together off the tree and hang it off an awning arm.

I have the same lights. Not exactly rope light, just the sticky LED light strips. Love it!
