Camping needs

So we just picked up our salem 32bhds friday!!! Super excited!!! We're trying to compile a list of camping needs from lanterns, to foil and everything in between- for those experienced campers- what are your must haves? Anything that we should make sure we get? Anything we can't live without?

For when you need both hands free.

Solid Rubber Wheel Chock

A grill of course and what ever fuel you need for it.

I suggest plastic ware because campin is not about washin dishes.

Can opener (my mother always forgot hers). We keep our 5th stocked all the time with plates, utensils, cookware, etc. If you can't do that use a tub or box to keep duplicate kitchen items in. So much easier than trying to remember everything. Thrift stores are good places to pick up some kitchen items.
And don't forget your pillows! Yeah...I've done that before, so now I have duplicate pillows, too!

Just camp in your driveway for a couple nights and you will soon figure out what you need as far as kitchen and bath. For the other stuff, get extra length of sewer hose and extra length of city water hose and possible extension for the power cable. Things like surge protector, leveling blocks (Anderson levelers work great), coax for any possible cable hookups (at least 25'), mattress pad, tool kit with screwdrivers, pliers, volt/ohm meter, etc. and after a few campouts you will gradually accumulate most of the stuff. Pick up some storage containers to put it all in so it doesn't slide around when you travel.

Find your power panel and see what size fuses you have. Then buy an assortment.

Roof vent cover so you can leave the vent open all the time and have fresh air in there.
