Camping Season Now Open in Virginia

At Last people passing through the State of Virginia, the season and parks are now open from Wednesday paper. The sign of SPRING is now in the air. Clarksville Va. has great COE CG for 22.00 per night on the water John Kerr Lake or locals call it Buggs Island....

First trip is to Jellystone Park at Natural Bridge, VA next month.
We will be having a celebration of life for a club member who passed away last year.

Sorry about your member, but you should really enjoy Natural Bridge. Very pretty area.

Thanks.
Yah, he was a great guy.
We had our Adopt A Highway trash pick up on a Saturday and he was in rare form, cracking jokes, just full of himself. Then we got the word later in the week he had passed away in his sleep. Talk about shocked. Jellystone is a good park for our first trip out.

Someone was looking for a CG at Virginia Beach? Now I can not find the post but if they read this look up Virginia KOA, it's located pretty close to the water and they have a trolley that runs people to the beach and back. It is on General Booth Blvd. Virginia Beach. Really nice KOA and great for kids. I hope this person reads this post. Closest I know to the ocean and 5 miles to The Downtown area. By Oceana NAS....

If you're looking to camp in Virginia Beach you should check out Holiday Travl Park. Closer to the beach (if only 100 yards), they have a free beach parking lot and the bus picks up at the front of the park . Look them up at campingvb.com Great park and better rate than KOA.

We really like Grindstone in western VA & also Grayson Highlands SP just around the mountain. They are in Mt. Rogers Rec. area I believe it is. Any way, we love your state & hope to visit again this summer or fall. Like the fall festival at Grayson Highlands.
