You should have checked the build date before paying for it

My 2014 Windjammer was one of the first 2014s built. It does not have LED awning lights from the factory. Later in the 2014 production year, those became standard equipment. I didn't get them even though the 2014 brochures, which came out later (we ordered in January 2013 and ours was built in April 2013) show them as standard equipment. The brochures all say that FR reserves the right to make changes in specifications, equipment and price without recourse at any time.

I think Oakman is right...don't sweat it...take your trailer out and enjoy it. Like most of us, you'll buy another one in a couple of years, and that will be your chance to get everything you want.

Yeah, you and Oakman are right. We will probably keep it at least five years or longer. Plus there are far far more things I like than the few that annoy, for which they have already begun to fade. Plus I can most likely resolve them after market.

Life.

They (FR) would somehow screw up the new mod installation anyway! One less thing to worry about!

Ha! That's common. My 2015 Forester 3051 is registered as a 2014 with the DMV based on the vin of the chassis.

one more grip and then I am through

It seems the owners manual is a generic for Rockwood and not model specific. For instance, I would like to know where all the various components are that I cannot see, like the water pump. Oh well, another Easter Egg hunt.

We do like our rig and will start planning a short, 200 round trip, if it ever stops snowing.

The owner's manual is generic for all of FR`s products.
Nearly all RV manufacturers only provide this kind of generic manual.
Virtually none of them provide model-specific info. Most aren't even RV-type specific.
