Can we still be friends?

Hi Everyone,

We ordered our 2011 Rockwood 8265 WS fifth wheel late 2010. It was an awesome trailer and we travelled across Canada and back, to Yukon and Alaska, the west coast including California and Arizona and all the way down to the tip of Baja Mexico, just to mention a few trips.

It was time for a change and we have now moved on to a different brand. This forum is like "home" and I hope we can stay on? I have learned lots over the years and hope I have helped some people along the way.

We do no longer own a Forest River trailer, however, I hope we can still be friends?

Happy New Year & happy camping

Cheers,

Anders

friends?

Maybe … but only if you supply the beer at camp.

Obviously kidding - I would consider any camper who is respectful a friend, regardless of brand.

This isn't an "official" Forest River owners website. To my knowledge, we have non owners, current owners, future owners, and past owners. You may not find any brand specific info for what you own now, but RVs all share a lot of commonalities that can still help. Happy Camping!

All family

I have learned a lot of things on the site. I figure if you’re here, you’re family. No matter what camper you are. 👍🏼

I had two Forest River Cardinals but moved to Grand Design two years ago. I'm on both forums. While the Grand Design forum is more specific to that brand, there are a LOT more folks here and, consequently, much more information.

Many of the problems are universal to all campers. Since this is not officially forest river it should be ok.

I too, am in the process of moving to SOB , as well, but I am on all of the forums. There are many brands and many folks. I get many ideas and try to help others when I can on all of them. The name on the outside may differ, but we all face the same kinds of issues.

I will also say that should I get the opportunity to downsize to a C again, a Forester (GTS or Trekker front cap only) will be at the top of the list. FR has treated me very well.

Thank you everyone...

Thank you, everyone... We will be in Caliente Springs, Palm Springs come mid-February (as long as the weather improves). Let me know if you're in the neighbourhood and will have that beer

Hey Anders,
I was up at your place last summer and the transfer pump on my Ram TV quit. The good folks in Courtenay got me back on the road in 3 hours. Nice people.

We launch our boats at Gold River and go out to beach.
