Can't Believe IT!

Already into September, seems like we just set up the campground! Sure went by fast. We still got 2 or so months left in Ohio before the cold decends. Sad!

Don't count on the two or so months winter is supposed to come early this year, getting our last trip in next week in NY. Looking forward to the end of next winter will be able to go camping any time I want to, will be retired and no responsibilities. Already have site for next spring reserved.

I hear ya, we close our seasonal site Oct 15th. Seems the summer goes faster every year, or is it that spring takes forever to arrive.

Yes this season went by way too fast. Our home CG closes on Oct. 14 this year. : ( I wish we could go somewhere warm in the winter but.... With two kids still in school, one working full time, and the DW working outrageous hours it is not in the foreseeable future. So if any of you snowbirds find some hot weather in Feb. please think warm thoughts for us stuck in the snow belt. : )

I lived in the Tampa Bay area for 8 years, never saw the first gator. Went to Brooksville a lot, never saw one there either.

We still have several trips planned here in the Midwest including the Amana Frog Rally! But what we are really looking forward to is our first November camping trip--Destin, FL for Thanksgiving. Wonder how many times I will have to winterize and dewinterize this year???

I am camping up to 1-1-2015 in NJ and PA then she gets winterized until March pending it is not so cold and Snowy in the North East but will winterize after last trip in October in case we don't make the PA trip for New Years. I got mine in July and used it at least 24 days since hope to get a lot more use next year. Mine is a 4 season but won't camp in severe cold and snow.

If you stay in FL all winter, you won't have to mess with it.

We are winterizing now. We had our last trip of the season before DH has knee replacement next week. January of 2017 we are looking to be snow birds.

I see "gators" on the roads around here all the time, "road gators" that is.....

They only bite if you run over them, numbers tend to dwindle in the winter for some reason...

Couple of more years before we can book it for warm weather after Thanksgiving.......
