I got this one for Diesel. Its for those times when I go a little out of the way to cheaper fuel only to find I can't get to the pump. This gets me 60 miles to go somewhere else.

Thank you guys for all of your helpful comments, I want to carry some gas in the back of my pickup because we are going to travel to Las Vegas and for what I have been told that there are some area going gas station in not plentiful.

Since I have never tow that long of a distance with my setup I don't want to under guess my mileage going. I'm sure that I will be okay but I would rather ask now than to ask in the middle of no man land.

That no-spill gas can look like something that I might want to get soon, thanks again for your comments it have been a big help to me and I'm sure other who might want to know also. The trip is about 1,200 long so I want to be sure and not get out there, people are crazy these days and I don't want to get my DW out there in no man land.

The gas can will be for my truck if I run close out before I can get to a gas station.

The can is worth more than the gas inside.

Do a search for a DOT safety can. These are designed for transport of fuel and vent at higher pressures than regular cans as well as other safety features. I got a 2 1/2 gallon one from Amazon for about $200. I carry it in my truck bed with the windows open on the shell. It has only vented a little once will going over Teton pass.

I carry a two gallon plastic can in my basement on the Cedar Creek, never thought much about it. I keep it for my Honda's that are kept in the basement along with a twenty pound LP tank.

Awesome guys, thanks I will continue search this out, I don't want to get into no man land and run out, not that I will because when I get down to about 1/2 tank I will start looking for the next gas station.

I guess that's the difference in gas and diesel, I have a 100gal tank in truck and never worry about running out of diesel

Steel can and DO NOT STORE IN AN UNVENTED SPACE!
Fumes in an unvented space is a bomb waiting for ignition.
