Cheater Plug

Is it safe to plug in a 30 amp plug (2 plugs) and run it into a 50 amp TT? Will that be 60 amps / too much??

Thanks....

No, a 50 amp plug provides 50 amps x2 Total of 100 amps. Using a splitter from 50 amp to 2 x 30 amp plug will work. You will have to be careful with the amount of draw and manage your loads i.e. AC Unit and Toaster no Hair Dryer for example.

30 amps or 50 amps is just the maximum potential of the circuit. The number of amps actually consumed depends on what you have switched on - its not going to try to force more current into your RV than it wants.
