chock blocks
We're thinking of getting the X-Chock Tire Locking chocks for our 2304S - anyone know if these fit this model of the Rockwood Ultra-Lite? Or, any better recommendations? Thanks!

If you have dual 14" tires as I do, then YES, they work great. I only use one on the door side, but I plan on getting another one. They do help stop the rocking very well. Randy

The only thing that you need to be concerned about is the distance between the tires. The chock blocks must be less than that distance when collapsed, otherwise they won't fit between the wheels. Most trailers are at least 3 or 4 inches but a few are considerably less.

We've never had a rig with tandem tires before - either campers, MH's or
single axle trailers!

Made my own with peices of 4 X4 7 1/4 " wide at top and cut to 20 degrees. drill 1/2 " hole tru the center and a 17" piece of all thread. I put nut and flat washer on top and bottom of bottom peice and just a flat washer and nut on top of top piece. Works great and not expensive.

The tires on my new Flagstaff are quite close together. The BAL X-Chocks are the only ones that would fit and they work well.

I think I remember seeing a diagram of these right after you made them and out of curiousity, I had to go outside and see what I had already to make me a set too. The rocking back and forth was driving me crazy and paying around $40 bucks a side was even worse. So I took some 4x4 wood blocks that I had cut off of a fence repair I did and placed them in between my tires and they fit perfectly. The edges were already cut 45 degrees from the edge and so they squeeze down between the tires nice and tight. Free, quick, easy, and most importantly, no tire damage. So for that, Thank you for such a great idea.

The BAL X chock was one of the few that would fit my Flagstaff, as well. Bought some yellow plastic wheel locking block at Wal Mart- would not fit between the gap. The BAL X chock is also well built. Randy
