Clicking sound near dual axle

Guys,

Just picked up a used 2006 Thor Summit 22RB (22 feet 4000lbs). I drove about 85 miles home.

When approaching my house, I finally rolled down the windows and noticed the suspension clicking (not sure where it is coming from). This is dual axle. I am really new to the dual axle suspensions.

I have had single axle trailers before (very quiet).

Is this common? My neighbor heard it while standing on my driveway and said its a common sound that it made when I was reversing up my driveway.

I also heard the same sound while I was rising the trailer jack

TIA,
tntrac

Was it your brake? They will make a clicking sound sound as you pressing the brakes. It's the magnet. Does it click without touching the brake pedal? Is it the WDH making the noise.

If the noise was while backing up, it might have been the self adjusters clicking on the spring

I think you are right on this. Since I pulled in my culdesac, that was when I rolled down my windows and started to brake (and later reverse).

First I thought it was a flat tire . but jumped out of the truck and tires were fine.

Pinesman - my neighbor said something like what you mentioned, "it might have been the self adjusters clicking on the spring".

Since I will have to relocate a wire that is in the way of my driveway, I will need move the trailer. This time, I keep a close attention to the sound.

Thanks guys.
