Clip In Oven

Have different brand TT, outback by ks. Wife was using oven yesterday and pulled rack out to adjust height and a clip hit the floor. I've looked for logical place for it to go and cannot find one. I thing it's for the temp probe but not sure. Oven is Atwood. Have pic of clip and inside oven, probe in back. Any ideas?

Most likely used to hold the temperature probe to the top or side of the oven. The probe is held about 1/2 inch out from the oven wall.
