CO Detector - Surprise Use

This wasn't very funny when it happened last night but now I can see some humour in it. Thought that a little after dinner nightcap would be the perfect way to end a great day of camping at Kouchibouguac Natl. Park in New Brunswick, Canada. Poured a nice glass is 15 yr old single malt Scotch and decided to add a couple of drops of water to it. Well...on the way to the tap, I somehow managed to drop the glass, Scotch and all. CO detector in the trailer went off immediately! Had to silence it a couple of times while cleaning up the mess! Not sure what the moral of the story is, but there's other uses to those detectors!

Shouldn't we be reporting this somewhere or another, as ALCOHOL ABUSE ????
