Color Fading

The fading of color on some RVs seems to have been an industry wide problem. Yesterday I took a photo of this Redwood with severe fading. Not only was there fading on the front cap and rear cap, the entire side had fading. In the main slideout those dark lines are the color the entire slideout is supposed to be. You can also see the fading in the area between the two slideouts near the top and directly behind the main slideout too. The other side of the RV was perfectly fine. Redwoods are high end units and if that were my RV Id be more than a little miffed.

When I was at Sunseeker/Forester dealers asked all the time when we were going to get into colored glass. We said if you want color, we have full body paint. "That's too much, you need colored glass". "when you coming out with colored glass?" "you need to offer colored glass". We were concerned about the parts fading at different rates...looks like our fear was founded. Just keep building white long enough for it to come back in style
