Columbus line sofa sleeper

Looking at buying my first fifth wheel and like the Columbus line. A buddy of mine and his wife will occasionally join us on trips and I know he is going to frown when I tell him that they will be sleeping on a sofa sleeper. Can someone comment on the sofa sleepers in this line of RV? Is it an air mattress? comfortable? If air, does it leak down over night ect?

I have the fabric version rather than the leather one. It's queen size, noticeable gaps in the areas were cushions meet up and too hard for my liking. So I bought a queen size extra thick Aerobed to put on top of sofa sleeper. Makes it way more comfy for your guests. Aerobed, sheets, blankets and pillows store well in upper cabinets above sofa. Those cabinets are too tall for short people however.

Our daughter sleeps on complaints.

It uses the foam cushions that are there, no air beds.

It is also a regular queen size, 60X80...

Yes it a regular queen, My son has stayed on ours with his girlfriend, he said it was comfy. I have also added a memory foam matress topper recently, I bet it sleeps much better now. He did mention that he didnt feel the bars from the frame like on my old one as well.
