Come on Spring

Well, hopefully everyone had great holidays.

It is quite apparent to me that I am ready for the start of our second year with our TT. On Christmas Day night as I was battening down the hatches, bringing in slides and so forth as we were expecting a heavy snow...I found myself pulling sleeping bags out and yesterday they were washed and now back in the TT. Hmmm, snow on the ground and I'm ready to go camping...come on Spring

Spring can't come soon enough for us too! Our breakfast counter looks out our back window and what do I see each day but our TT covered up, looking sad and lonely . Our first outing is planned for April (to Disney!!), then locally for May, then Assateague in June, (well you get the picture!). I am counting the days until our camping season begins!

This is what I see when I look outside my kitchen window - my TT covered in snow and ice. Supposed to be 40 degrees here for a couple of days, so the snow will hopefully melt off. But then I'm sure we'll get hit with another storm. It's brutal...seeing it covered in snow and knowing there is still a good 90 days to go until decent camping weather. Ugh.

Nope, no cover. I've heard bad stories and good stories about covers. Wind does a number on them and they can rub through the gelcoat with too much wind, etc. So we decided to go with no cover. This is our 2nd winter, and this winter we have a bit more snow, so we'll see how it looks in spring.

That's exactly what I see out my back window, This will be our second year with our trailer and spring can't come soon enough.
