OK, is there some way to get these guys' travel itinerary? I mean WOW.

I got a new Rec Tec Mini. I hope it fits in the basement! But me and that new Rec Tec, and some dead pigs, and some Head Brothers BBQ sauce, and me and Evan W. are gonna party hearty next week, I'm tellin' ya. South Carolina, watch out!

Our team will be cooking on June 17-18 in Apex,NC at the Peak City Pig Fest. Anyone is welcome to drop by and chat a while.
Our cookers are an FEC-100 and a Traeger Pellet grill. The toy hauler is a Puma 2016 359THKS 5th wheel. Typically unload and cook on the ground. Usually have to use the stacked queens in the back for sleeping.

I'll be 5 hours away at Lake Greenwood SC.

Dang.

Guess I'll have to cook my own pigs.

Not BBQ, but...competed today in the Virginia State Chili Championship in Culpeper, Va. Finished 7th out of 32. Not bad but I was hoping to add to my 2014 Pennsylvania State Championship.

Thank ya. I have 3 270 smokers. They do a good job and very well built. And have used all of there cookers other than there newest one that's about to come out on the market I will get to look at that one in a few weeks . Probably one of the easiest cookers I have ever used

We competed at the I Love BBQ Fest in Lake Placid over the 4th of July.
Being set up inside the Olympic Oval was cool

cooking pizza in my "wood fired double kettle pizza cooker"

For the competitions we were 2nd place in people's choice pulled pork, 4th place in people's choice ribs and took home third place chicken in the KCBS contest.

My competition pride and joy, chicken thighs. We've gotten a lot of calls over our 6 years competing for our chicken. Wish we could be as consistent with the other 3 meats. lol

Picture of our KCBS ribs. For some reason we were fighting the cooker to stay at our usual temp. These didn't render out enough fat or get the nice bark we usually get.
