Conspiracy!

It's a conspiracy I tell ya! We haven't been out with the TT since last November!

Every time we think we might get some time, BAM! We can't even seem to find time for a date night, never mind a weekend of camping.

It's so bad, we're trying to make plans for summer of 2016! This summer is already booked. Next summer is spoken for.

We're beginning to wonder if we should give it up.

UUUUUGH!

Drop it on a seasonal site so you don't have to worry about hauling, setting up, etc... and then one or the other can go when free. If it's close enough to home you can maybe go to whatever you have booked from the site instead of having to go from home.

I know the feeling... last year we de-winterzied it and then camped for a weekend and then didn't touch it until we winterized it again.

this year, we've already used it more than last... now our boat is another story. I jsut need to get rid of it. winterized and sitting in the garage since 2012.

I feel your pain!!
Bought a new Sabre Mardi Gras day (March 4th), and I have worked every weekend but Easter, (Crawfish boil at our house). The only time it has left the driveway was to see how the new air bags worked. This shut down has to end soooon!!

Keep checking for availabity during summer. "Life happens" so other people will end up cancelling reservations. Of course this is a bit of hit & miss but what do you have to lose?

Good luck!

X2 - that is how we do it - eleven years now on a seasonal - so easy to take off whenever you can - just unlock the door and enjoy 👍

It's your schedule and you let it get that way. You can always say no to some of the obligations that's holding you back. We schedule at least six weekends as early as possible and schedule whatever else comes up around those plans.

If you say yes to everything that comes around you won't have time for what you want.

Happy camping

It's a combo of things that we can NOT say no to. Hubby's job, the fact that our old house still hasn't sold, work on the new place, UGH!

Oh well. We'll get out when we can. Thanks for listening to me whine!

What does this have anything to do with the thread? They didn't say they couldn't find a place to camp- they don't have the time/availability. And calling them cheap???

X2 last summer a cancelled wedding our daughter took a lot of time and the summer before my mothers passing. these life events do take priority. This summer we have 4 weeks book and a crazy week at Goshen.

Take what you can get, book some 4 day weekends and hopefully you can get away.
