Construction?

Hey all....

Haven't been on here for quite some time.

Now it's time for us to sell...but I want the correct information to be in the ad so I have a few question.

The unit is a 2003 Sierra Lite 5th-wheel Northwest Edition.
We have used this for MAYBE 15 days since we bought it new.
It has always been garaged.

Anyway....
1. Does any one know what the frame construction is? I think it's Aluminum but not really sure.
2. Why is this unit not listed in any Blue Book I can find? I know it was a Limited Edition but sheesh.....that limited?

Thanks all....I have lurked a lot but never really had anything to contribute since we never use our unit.

Your unit is 14 years old, do blue books go back that far?

Check nadaguides.com

They have rv prices going back that far - the Limited was probably an option pkg and not a specific model

Try sticking a magnet to the frame. If it sticks, it's not aluminum.

Does your Sierra have aluminum siding or filon siding?
If it's aluminum siding, it should be wood framing, also known as "Stick and Tin".

The siding is fiberglass(?)
I guess you called it filon but I've never heard that term before.

I'm pretty sure the framework is Aluminum since it if a lite version.
Wood would have added a lot of weight.

Nope....I found out the NW PACKAGE is a 2x4 frame with metal strapping added to the joints.
Hard to believe it's considered a lite but that's what the original brochure I have says...
