cooling

Not sure what to do, is it better to turn my AC off when I leave so I can save money? Or just leave it on , otherwise it takes so long to cool it off?

If you are plugged into a site that you have paid the night for, there is no cost after that fee. If you are paying for the electric by use then you have to consider what your comfort is worth.

A lot depends on where you're located. If you're anywhere in the south it's probably just as cheap to leave it on and let it maintain the temp. If you turn it off for several hours and then try to cool the unit down after you get back, the compressor will run long enough to offset the savings you had while it was off.

We leave ours on. Here in Arizona, we need the a/c almost 24/7. I can't imagine trying to cool it down after letting it get in the 90s or 100s.
