Somewhere, buried in all the warnings, there should be a notice. A SOB Class B we looked at had a warning sticker on the counter top next to the induction cook top. A quick call to my wife's cardiologist office confirmed she should not use it.

Many folks with ICD's won't know about this, will use the cook top, and won't ever have a problem. But I don't want my wife to be the one the warnings are issued for...especially while out in the woods.

Well, maybe....let’s look at the science:

I fry over gas whenever possible. I hate electric stovetops of all kinds. Frying pans should be placed over fire! But I own a nuwave and it's used if necessary. I can't stand the way it errors out if you pick up the pan for a second! Try making Southern Gravy! Ain't no way on that thing. Plus, setting a certain temp just turns it on, off, on, off. UGH!! I want the infinite settings of gas, plus instant on and off, and staying on the temp where I put it, no matter what happens.

However, if the pan is nonstick I assume (?) I can use it over a flame??? If so, I'd buy it for the nonstick qualities.

Exactly what you should do... There are general answers, like in the linked info, but any individual can be the exception based on their particular situation. When in doubt we call, or email, our Cardio Group's "Nurse Line" for an answer.
