Corian is Corian, whether in home or RV, and most folks love it
. Yes, it does scratch, but scratches are easily removed with 1500 grit sandpaper and a little polishing compound. Most other hard surface countertops are not easily repaired.
Most likely scratched before you used it and you just hadn't noticed. It does not scratch too easily, but if you drag something across it with an edge, it will scratch. Get used to lifting and setting things back down rather than sliding them across the Corian.
