free of defects in material and workmanship for
a period of one(1) year(parts and labor) and life
time(parts and technical support) from the original
date of purchase 90 days [parts and labor] and
180 days [parts] for commercial & industrial use.

If I read this correctly... consumer use is "lifetime" parts and tech help.

Another Costco plus...

At the local Costco in Kansas City the Firman also comes with cable to connect two of them. Yes it is lifetime parts and tech help. You call or email your problem and they will diagnose the problem and send you the parts and instructions to do the repair. They do NOT cover normal wear items like filters spark plug etc. one week left to grab it....

You could try a hitch hoist, $120 at princess auto, I’m sure at Harbor freight it would be cheaper. Easily can be used the lift up to 350 lbs

After looking at the Firman Generator W3200i For $479 plus tax I decided to go with the Camping World Champion 4000 Watt and ordered a Wheel Kit 40065 with it too. The total cost to me Was $330.06
The main difference's are that the Champion is about 20 lbs heaver and has two 120 volt 20 amp outlets along with the 240 volt 30 amp RV outlet .
For the difference of about $200 more the Firman seemed to overpriced and I gain more Wattage with the Champion. My Friend has one of these Champions and has been using one for many years with no problems. As of now the Champion is on Sale for $100 Off at a sale price of $269 and the Wheel Kit is sale priced at $34.21.
Only Catch is you have to be a Good Sam Club Member.

Hope you aren't using that open-frame generator in a campground![emoji32][emoji32][emoji32]
I own one so I know how loud it is.
The Firman is an inverter generator with a decibel rating of 58db, while the Champion 4000 open-frame contractor-style generator has a decibel rating of 65db.

Ummm I hope it is really a 120v 30A RV outlet or it will fry a lot of 30A campers. Please be careful!

Perhaps CW is just trying to drum up more converter and appliance sales.

I can deal with the louder noise for saving me $200
I’ve seen louder ones in many campgrounds
Must campgrounds don’t let you run any generators after 10 PM anyway.
But I won’t be using it in a campground just my property where I have no power

Perfect for that generator. I use my Champion 4000w for home backup power.
Works great except the DW hates how loud it is. But I tell her it's only loud until the power comes back on.[emoji6]

Sounds like a good alternative choice for a Honda. At 96lbs, it's way heavier than my Champion 3400; might be a negative for some folks.

I've got one of the 100 lb. Champion 4500/3650 watt gens that I added a wheel kit and folding handle to so I can pull it around to the rear of my TT and up a small ramp, made from two 2x4's, to a hitch hauler on the bumper. Takes most of the lifting out of the equation for me.
