I believe Capital Gains is also influenced by age. At some age, maybe 50, a couple can gain up to $500,000. And not pay taxes or reinvest the money. That is a federal tax law...or was until 6 years ago when the DW and I went through that process.

Campground Hosts do it all the time. It's better if you can move once in a while, but not impossible. Pick up some hobbies and enjoy outdoors. For me, I would stay away from urban RV parks, find a convenient State park, get out enjoy, tour adjacent local culture, cook in outside Dutch Ovens (keeps smells out). And have fun. The only thing we cook in our RV is morning coffee, and we eat fantastic. Don't be afraid.
