As our pilots like to say
"hours and hours of absolute boredom randomly punctuated with seconds of sheer terror"

However if someone put Stranded, my tongue jack won't go up or, Stranded, my slides won't close, you can bet I'll click on those first. By the same token, if you just put "Stranded" as a title I may or may not read that as it doesn't give me a clue whether I can help or not.
X2 on what he ^^^^ said.

For the most part I skip the vague topic titles. I don't have a problem w/ the Chit Chat (or off topic threads) as long as they're posted there.

A suggestion for new members, unless the problem is specific to your model/type of RV, would it be posted in General Tech & Repair?

If people don't have the new threads visible, they may not see your post.

Example posting about a faulty Dometic AC in the Surveyor forum could limit its exposure.

Also, people may not be interested in joining a truck forum to ask about info for their particular TV. I'm on 1 GM truck forum & would rather pick the brains of other FRF members when it comes to towing questions.

My favorite platitude is:

"Any landing you can walk away from is a good landing; but being able to use the airplane again is a perfect landing."

My favorite is,
"Takeoffs are optional, landings are mandatory"
