Dang fence.....

Sooooo, I was parking my TT last night since I just back it straight in when I got home Sunday night. My fence and back yard are a 90 degree turn from my driveway so as I was just about to pull forward the last time and park it, dang if the fence post didn't just jump out and grab my left pass through door. So now I have a 3 - 4 inch gash in the door .
I will try and see if I can just get a whole new door or patch the hole.... I can't believe I did that...it just hurts.

Buy a door and replace it then move on because stuff happens all the time.

Never let the small stuff get to you.

Where do you find replacements? I have looked on-line and cannot find OEM replacement parts.

It's always the first one that hurts...if that's the worst I do to it, then I am winning!

Thanks,
Susan

I would jut go to a dealer and have them order the correct size.
I would imagine FR gets it's doors from the same place as all the other RV makers do.

In the mean time I would patch the hole with some https://www.google.com/webhp?tab=ww&...4#q=eternabond
to keep water out of the hole.

As an example of what is out there.

You may also find a RV salvage outfit near you that may have a door of the right size.

These are what I call the learning curve or war wounds. If you ever see my trailer you will know that I am a much decorated veteran with lots to learn. The first was a surprise by someone else and it hurt a bit but now we just sort of shrug them off, repair as best we can and move on. Life is to precious to let a little thing like that bother us. Good luck with finding a replacement door. Old Guys (Brian and Joanne)

You can order a new door from rvnation.com. Link pasted below. I did the same thing a few years ago...just a scratch though. My large compartment door is delaminated so I will be ordering one from rvnation. Good luck...you and I may need a spotter...
