Date to dewinterize in iowa

Hi I need help. This will be my first spring with the new rv. I live near Iowa city Iowa and was curious when would be safe to de winterize. Would I be ok to do it around march 23rd as I have a shot at a light camping trip for a few days but I want to wait until it is safe to leave water in it so I don't have to winterize again.

Each year is different. I would watch long range forecast and when it is forecasted to be above 32 degrees consistently you should be safe to de winterize. It's all in a persons risk taking. Does not take long to winterize and de winterize. I myself would go camping then winterize again until temps stay above 32 degrees

We aren't that far north, but we do the winterize/de-winterize thing as needed. We de-winterized just last week for a 3 night trip where we could find 40 degree days. Re-winterized before leaving the CG. If you are setup right, you can winterize a TT in about 20 minutes. If you blow out the lines, a good bicycle pump is all that's needed. We use RV antifreeze and don't blowout the lines.

I'm in Co. Bluffs like cfiowa I de winterize around April 1st, the weather is getting warm enough by then that even if you get a cold day as long as the system is still drained should be good to go.
