We were in St. Aug. last summer. We were vary disappointed how run down its looking from previous years. We also noticed, that a lot of homeless people, were sleeping along the water front at night. We felt a little unsafe walking at night, around the town.We also camped at http://beverlybeachcamptown.com/. Its right on the ocean.

Unfortunately Florida has the highest unemployment rate in the country. On a lighter note I will be in Orlando in 20 days. Going to WDW and flying, breakfast in NY and lunch by the pool in Florida. To the OP safe trip to you and yours don't forget to make sure all the spare tires are inflated properly and all the roadside tire eqpt is operational unless of course you have a roadside assistance program (still need to check the spares).

While in St Augustine...try the Bunnery for breakfast, especially the cinnamon buns!! Its in the downtown section of town...no parking so you have to walk the old downtown area.
We go thru there occasionally and have to stop for a cinnamon bun..

It's probably just me- but I have a difficult time seeing an RV with snow on the ground or sitting in snow or being driven or towed in snow.

My mind goes always goes to seeing RV's in the sun with blue skies.

Like I said - it's probably just me.

I made those markers out of some scrap lumber i had ...If i were to guess ..i would say...yes ..probably close to 3 foot tall...That Sunday morning near Detroit metro airport on I-275 southbound.. many accidents due to snow ...even the police cars got hit from sliding vehicles

Glad you made it down there safe and sound. What RV park are you staying at, if you don't mind me asking?
