Dead Horse Point, Utah

We have camping reservations at Dead Horse Point this fall. I noticed on their web site that there is no water available at the camp ground to fill your tanks. Has anyone stayed at this campground? If so, where did you fill your tanks?

It is in remote wilderness - fill up in Moab or Green River city. You probably won't want to stay at DHP more than a couple days.

I have been out there, I haven't stayed at the campgrounds. I want to say there was a dump station but I cannot remember about water. I know there is a water spout at the campground but I am not sure how they would take to filling tanks. Here is the number for the field office for BLM in Moab435-259-2100 I call regularly before making the trip to Moab from SLC. I am sure they can answer questions like this.

We were in Dead Horse yesterday. Great mountain bike trail.

We stayed at the Arch View Campground. Loved the Moab area.

We've been there a number of times. It's one of our favorite campgrounds. There is water at the campground for showers and flush toilets, but since they have to truck water in from a distance, they request that you bring your own.
