Dealer problems

I have a warranty problem and the dealer says it is too far to drive (2 hrs 40 min). They said can you get a local guy to fix and they would pay. Found a local guy and now dealer does not want to cover his service call. Do I have to call Forest River to straighten out? How to force dealer to come out. They sent me free parts to fix, but i installed parts and still does not work. AC/Firplace switch and wall plug. The local guy charges about 100 dollars for service call. He has to trouble shoot the electrical circuits.

I could be wrong, but I don't know of many that will cover the service call of a third party. Maybe some do. When we had our awning motor replaced (under warranty), we had to pay the service call fee, which was fortunately only $25. We chose to have someone come to us, opposed to going to them, just for our own convenience, so it was worth the cost of the service.

At least in Heaven, RVs will be perfect, and I won't have to keep fixing them.

I read the warranty and do not see it anywhere stated it is on site.

I have to drive 3 hours to get to my dealer. Knew this going in. Ive had to go in for one round of warranty so far. Dealer took care of the problems and 2 weeks later all good. Had several issues.

Dont understand what the issue is. Read the warranty.

Maybe FR will pay another to fix it, but your dealer is not obligated to cone to you.
