we hear all the time about how crappy dealers are and the horror stories about how long the TT was in the shop for a simple repair.

here's my story going camping for the weekend on Friday, as always checking to make sure things work correctly, slide out OK, lights work OK awning out NOT OK blows fuse, no problem try another fuse same result. So I call my dealer and explain the problem, he tells me could be a wire shorting out or worse the motor has gone south, well I am thinking the worst at this point (no awning for the weekend). He says can you bring it in for a look so I drove down to the dealer. long story short, 2 hours later leaving the dealer with new awning motor (damn they ain't cheap). Now that is customer service in my book.

Did you pay for the motor, or was it covered under warranty, sometimes that will determine how fast you get something fixed.

not under warranty like i said Damn those things ain't cheap
but this is not the first time i have gotten excellent service form these folks however it is the first thing that warranty didn't cover

If the awning is a lippert solera power awning go to etrailers.com they carry
the motor for 135.00 free shipping.very easy to install. I just replaced mine
3 days ago very simple.
