Death in the family

We lost our sister in-law this past Sunday a non smoker to lung cancer. It was discovered a year ago & after removing the upper lobe of her right lung was doing great. However about 3 months ago it came back.

She was a good Christian lady who never married. She taught for years in the Albuquerque public school system. Before moving to Marion, IN Of course we miss her greatly but feel Blessed. Just one week before her passing her four siblings got together with her - the first time in 9 years.

Also, thankful to have family here that has a large enough driveway for us to park our "Little One" in. They installed a 30 AMP RV receptacle so we have good power. Brother in-law where we are parked works for a university & they have a dump that they use for their tour buses less than a mile away.

May not be talking being Blessed when we start going thru all of her belongings though. After almost 79 years of collecting things it will be a job.

If you are inclined - say a prayer for Emptypockets & Lady EP we lay her to rest tomorrow Thursday May 10th

It sounds as if your family will be there for you as will the thoughts and prayers of the RV community.
May the good Lord keep her and all of hers in the palm of His hand,.

It is always a sad time when a loved one passes. She may be gone but I know that she must have left many memories that will live on. I lost a wife to cancer in 2001, know what the family is going through.

My dad is a pastor and on many occasions has noted the difference between a Christian and a non-Christian funeral. It is always a blessing to know that a person's eternity will be spend with our God and our Creator.

I always think of the MercyMe song "I Can Only Imagine"

I want to say thank you to all who offered their condolences. The funeral went very well. Faith, spent many years in Albuquerque & sang in "The Young At Heart Choir". Knowing how much she enjoyed & loved this choir we played six songs from one CD called "Heavenly Gospel" - she sang in the choir on this CD - how many get to sing at their own funeral!
