No one can drive to the beautiful beach (bicycles and tram only) so it is never crowded. For the shoppers among us, there is a great outlet mall just west of there close to Destin. My Christmas shopping is done.
We too love Topsail and want to return next winter. Maybe rent one of their cabins for a family holiday reunion. There is another, state park that is worth visiting just east of Topsail north of 98, which is Eden Garden State Park. Lots of history and beautiful gardens on Choctawhatchee Bay. Locals say the fishing there is great!

Yes, northwestern in the panhandle. Some of the most beautiful beaches in Florida. Camped their last winter from Apalachicola to Ft Pickens near Pensacola.
